Greetech Chile continues to expand its technical tours in Chile, incorporating new experiences that connect aquaculture, agriculture and applied technology through visits to real production facilities.

As part of a recent European delegation programme, we designed and coordinated an integrated itinerary covering salmon aquaculture, regenerative livestock farming, seed potato production and agricultural drone technology. This approach reflects our focus on delivering high-value technical experiences that provide direct insight into productive systems, innovation and sustainability.

One of the key components of the programme was a visit to the salmon feed plant operated by Empresas AquaChile in Pargua. The facility plays a strategic role within Chile’s salmon value chain, allowing participants to understand feed formulation, production processes and the operational scale behind one of the country’s main export industries.

The programme also included a visit to Hacienda Liguai (Fundo El Toro), located in the Los Lagos Region, where participants were introduced to a regenerative livestock farming model focused on soil health, planned grazing and long-term ecosystem management. This experience provides valuable insights into how livestock systems can evolve towards more sustainable and resilient production models.

In addition, participants visited Semillas Llanquihue, a company specialised in seed potato production, where they were able to observe key processes related to varietal selection, plant health management, storage and distribution. The agro-climatic conditions of southern Chile, combined with strict technical standards, position this activity as a relevant case study for agricultural professionals and researchers.

To complement the programme, Greetech Chile also coordinated a technical demonstration of agricultural drones in collaboration with Agridrones, showcasing the growing role of precision agriculture tools in monitoring and field management. This component added a technological dimension to the visits, highlighting practical applications of innovation in agricultural and livestock systems.

By integrating these experiences, Greetech Chile reinforces its role as a specialised operator capable of designing technical programmes that go beyond observation, enabling direct interaction with producers, technical teams and industry experts.

With this expanded portfolio, we continue to offer international visitors, companies and institutions unique access to key productive sectors in southern Chile, from aquaculture and agriculture to livestock production and emerging technologies applied in the field.
